Academies & pathways
The Academies of the Southwest Valley organize career pathways into three academies offered across six comprehensive high schools. Pick the academy, pathway, or campus that fits how you’d like to support students — we’ll match you to the right coach.
Hilltop School for the Arts is a distinct, arts-focused school opening fall 2026 — it’s separate from the three academies and has its own programs. Its pathway list will be published closer to opening.
The three academies
Academy of Creative Arts & Media
Pathways in film & TV production, live entertainment production, performing arts (band, choir, dance, theatre), visual arts (drawing & painting, sculpture & ceramics). Connects students to careers in media, performance, and visual arts industries.
Academy of Business, Design & Technology
Pathways in marketing, graphic design, software & app design, network security, construction technologies, digital photography, and digital media & journalism. Connects students to careers in technology, design, business, and the built environment.
Academy of Science, Service & Innovation
Pathways in medical assisting, sports medicine, mental & social health, agriscience, veterinary assisting, law & public safety, education, automation & robotics, JROTC, and culinary arts. Connects students to careers in healthcare, public service, agriculture, and engineering.
